Privacy policy

Who we are
Fyvra is a training, nutrition and progress planner. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Fyvra website and app.
Data we collect
Account data — your email address and authentication identifiers, managed by our sign-in provider Clerk.
Plan and fitness data — the goals, training preferences, meals, workouts, weight entries and similar inputs you add so Fyvra can build and track your plan.
Billing data — if you subscribe to Fyvra Pro, payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
Smart-scale data — only if you connect a Withings device, and only the measurements needed for weight tracking.
Usage data — pages visited, features used and funnel events (for example completing onboarding), collected via PostHog.
Email data — your email address for transactional messages (welcome, billing alerts, plan notifications) and, unless you unsubscribe, occasional product updates sent via Resend.
Cookies and similar technologies
When you first visit Fyvra we ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies or storing persistent identifiers.
If you accept: PostHog analytics uses cookies/local storage to recognise return visits, and the Meta Pixel sets advertising cookies so we can measure our ads.
If you decline: the Meta Pixel never loads, and analytics runs without persistent identifiers (memory-only for the current page session). The app itself works fully either way.
You can clear your choice at any time by clearing site data for this website in your browser.
Advertising measurement
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure whether our ads lead to previews, sign-ups and subscriptions. With your consent, this can include hashed identifiers (such as a hashed email) sent server-side so Meta can match conversions to ad clicks. Meta's use of this data is described in Meta's own privacy policy.
Why we process your data
To provide the product — building plans, tracking progress, syncing devices (performance of a contract).
To improve Fyvra — aggregated product analytics (legitimate interest, consent for persistent identifiers).
To measure advertising — only with your consent.
To bill subscriptions — performance of a contract and legal obligations.
To send product email — transactional messages related to your account (contract) and product updates where we have a legitimate interest, with an easy unsubscribe.
Third parties we share data with
Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), PostHog (analytics, EU hosting), Meta (advertising measurement, with consent), Resend (email delivery), Vercel and Neon (hosting and database), and Withings (only if you connect a smart scale). We do not sell your personal data.
We send transactional email when you sign up, save your first plan, or when billing needs attention (for example a failed payment).
Registered users are added to our email list for product updates. You can unsubscribe from product updates in Settings or via the link in any marketing email. Unsubscribing does not stop essential account or billing email.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted from our systems, and any active subscription is cancelled at the end of its billing period.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
