Who we are

Fyvra is a training, nutrition and progress planner. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Fyvra website and app.

Data we collect

Account data — your email address and authentication identifiers, managed by our sign-in provider Clerk.

Plan and fitness data — the goals, training preferences, meals, workouts, weight entries and similar inputs you add so Fyvra can build and track your plan.

Billing data — if you subscribe to Fyvra Pro, payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

Smart-scale data — only if you connect a Withings device, and only the measurements needed for weight tracking.

Usage data — pages visited, features used and funnel events (for example completing onboarding), collected via PostHog.

Email data — your email address for transactional messages (welcome, billing alerts, plan notifications) and, unless you unsubscribe, occasional product updates sent via Resend.

Cookies and similar technologies

When you first visit Fyvra we ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies or storing persistent identifiers.

If you accept: PostHog analytics uses cookies/local storage to recognise return visits, and the Meta Pixel sets advertising cookies so we can measure our ads.

If you decline: the Meta Pixel never loads, and analytics runs without persistent identifiers (memory-only for the current page session). The app itself works fully either way.

You can clear your choice at any time by clearing site data for this website in your browser.

Advertising measurement

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure whether our ads lead to previews, sign-ups and subscriptions. With your consent, the Pixel sets advertising cookies in your browser. We also send conversion events server-side (including hashed identifiers such as a hashed email) so Meta can match sign-ups and subscriptions to ad clicks even when browser cookies are unavailable. Meta's use of this data is described in Meta's own privacy policy.

Why we process your data

To provide the product — building plans, tracking progress, syncing devices (performance of a contract).

To improve Fyvra — aggregated product analytics (legitimate interest, consent for persistent browser identifiers).

To measure advertising — browser cookies only with your consent; server-side conversion measurement for sign-ups and subscriptions (legitimate interest in understanding ad effectiveness).

To bill subscriptions — performance of a contract and legal obligations.

To send product email — transactional messages related to your account (contract) and product updates where we have a legitimate interest, with an easy unsubscribe.

Health and fitness data

Fyvra processes information about your body, training, nutrition and progress so we can build and adapt your plan. This may include weight, body-composition measurements, goals, dietary preferences and workout history.

You provide this data when you complete setup, log progress or connect a compatible smart scale. We use it only to deliver the service — including AI-assisted plan updates — and do not sell it.

Where this information relates to your health, we process it because it is necessary to provide the service you have asked for. AI features send relevant plan context to our model providers via Vercel's AI Gateway; those providers act as subprocessors under our instructions.

Third parties we share data with

Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), PostHog (analytics, EU hosting), Meta (advertising measurement), Resend (email delivery), Vercel and Neon (hosting and database), model providers via Vercel AI Gateway (plan generation), and Withings (only if you connect a smart scale). We do not sell your personal data.

Email

We send transactional email when you sign up, save your first plan, or when billing needs attention (for example a failed payment).

Registered users are added to our email list for product updates. You can unsubscribe from product updates in Settings or via the link in any marketing email. Unsubscribing does not stop essential account or billing email.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your plan, profile, weight entries and other app data from our database, delete your analytics profile, remove you from our marketing email list, and anonymise your Stripe billing record. Any active subscription is cancelled at the end of its current billing period. We may retain minimal billing and webhook records where required for fraud prevention, accounting or legal obligations.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
